Terms and Conditions
All hats in our collection are available for a 5 day hire period. This 5 day hire covers hat hire, days beyond 5 days will be charged as a second hire based on the individual hire price of the hat. In the event that the hat is not received back in this 5 day period a second hire will be charged, unless prior arrangements for longer hires has been agreed with Jennifer. For example; your event is on Friday, your chosen hat will be delivered on Wednesday and then this hat should be sent back and receipted as proof of return on Monday.
Terms of hire:
Damaged hats: it is our understanding that hats are hired to be enjoyed by our clients but on occasions hats are prone to damage unfortunately. Whilst every effort is made on our behalf to make sure the hat hired is in good hirable condition, we ask that you mind and look after the hat when it is in your care.
Damage & Repairs:
Any hat that is returned and deemed in an unwearable condition will be charged. Damage is deemed by loss of decoration, embellishment and also the effects of oil, water or liquid damage also tears and scratches to materials. I will always offer the option to return it to the milliner for repair but these repair costs shall be paid by the hirer. Credit card details will be taken from all hirers and will be charged accordingly in the event of damage to hat. Please note that all card details are kept in a safe, private and in a secure place as per GDPR regulations.
Nationwide delivery and collection service is available on all hats hired, the cost for this is €20 extra on top of the hat hire price.Our chosen delivery is primarily An Post, so you will receive your hat through the post at your chosen address be it work or home. In the box you will receive a prepaid address label to attach to the box and then return it to any post office in Ireland. At the post office you will receive a proof of postage return receipt for your records.
