What to Wear to a Winter Wedding

Deciding what to wear to a wedding as a guest can be tricky at the best of times, let alone during the coldest season. There are so many factors to consider when it comes to winter wedding dresses for guests – the weather conditions, the location, and the formality of the event – just to name a few.

Footwear is incredibly important for winter weddings – if there’s a chance of frost or snow, be sure to have sensible shoes so you’re not slipping and sliding your way around the venue.

Be sure to align your outfit to the formality of the wedding

As with a wedding in any season of the year, it’s important to keep to the dress code. Winter wedding outfits for guests that adhere to a black-tie standard may include floor-length dresses with love sleeves. For a less formal wedding, however, this would leave you looking too overdressed.
